TELEFONICA GASTROPARK: COULD THIS FOOD TRUCK SPOT BE THE BEST VALUE IN TIJUANA?

The Atmosphere – Casual, food truck and brewery scene. Lots of 20, 30, and 40-somethings and some families with children (there is small playground in the complex for kids).
One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Tijuana is at Telefonica Gastro Park, a large gastronomic playground with a collection of permanent food trucks, food shops, a large selection of local craft beers and a bar. Locals and tourists alike flock to this gem for some well-priced, great tasting food and drinks.
The Order - The Order - Mezcal margarita with frutosrojos (red berries) from the bar, Sope de CerdoAdobado and Chicken Enchiladas in Molé from La Carmelita Food Truck.
The Great - The mezcal margarita was phenomenal. Presented beautifully, the great combination of the smoky mezcal with the berries was tasty and I could have easily had 8 of them. The food from La Carmelita was also excellent - the cerdoadobado on the sope was well cooked and spiced and the molé on the enchiladas was rich and delicious.
The Verdict - Telefonica Gastro Park is amazing and La Carmelita and the bar are both must-trys. The value for what you are getting is superb and the quality of the food is comparable to some of the fine dining restaurants in Tijuana.
