The Great - I am generally not someone that goes for a coffee cocktail but the waiter highly recommended the Coffee Spraytan and he seemed to know his stuff. I am glad I listened. A combination of pineapple rum, coconut rum, coffee liqueur and vanilla whip, this cocktail was not too sweet, not to creamy and came with a foam on top that was both tasty and had a nice texture to add to the experience. Unfortunately though, it wasn’t on the happy hour menu. I also thought that their truffle fries were superb. Topped with grated Parmesan cheese and served with an incredible mustard aioli, the fries seemed were a perfect size and had a great overall taste.

The Good - The No Esposa, a tequila cocktail with lemon, grenadine, habanero and strawberry shrub, was very light and refreshing. It is a really good alternative to a margarita, especially if you are looking for something a bit lighter. The habanero easily could have made this drink unbearable for most but there was just enough to give it a nice kick without making it too spicy. The Paloma, a great take on the classic cocktail, was thankfully made with fresh grapefruit juice and club soda instead of a sugary grapefruit soda. It was nice and refreshing and definitely better than your average Paloma.

The Verdict - The Lion’s Share is a great place to go for craft cocktails. Happy hour or not, this place is worth a visit and make sure you get an order of the truffle fries.
